In Turkish grammar, there is a so-called “conditional-desiderative mood”. The forms of this mood usually express a wish relating to the present or future, which is often unrealizable.
This mood is formed by adding the affixes -sa / -se and personal endings to the verb stem. These forms are sometimes accompanied by the interjections ah! oh! or the modal word keşke “I wish”, “if only”.
Ben yap + sa + m
Sen yap + sa + n

Siz yap + sa + nız

Real conditionals
These forms express a real condition related to the present, past, or future tense, and they correspond to English complex sentences with “if” clauses (if he does, if he did, if he will do).
An “if” clause in the Turkish language can be introduced by the conjunction eğer “if”, or less commonly şayet “if”, but their use is not mandatory.

The reflexive voice
The reflexive voice indicates that the action is directed back at the doer of the action (in English, this is often expressed using reflexive pronouns like “oneself”, “himself”, e.g., “he washes himself”, “he dresses himself”, or simply as intransitive verbs).
Reflexive voice forms are created by adding the affix -n to verb stems ending in a vowel, and -ın, -in, -un, -ün to consonant stems.
Yıkamak - yıka + n + mak - to wash (someone/something) - to wash oneself
Sevmek - sev + in + mek - to love - to rejoice, to be glad
Giymek - giy + in + mek - to dress (someone) - to dress oneself, to get dressed
Övmek - öv + ün + mek - to praise - to praise oneself, to boast
As you can see, the markers for the passive and reflexive voices partially overlap.
The word-building affix -k, -ık, -ik, -uk, -ük
The word-building affix -k forms verbal nouns and adjectives if the verb stem ends in a vowel, and takes the forms -ık, -ik, -uk, -ük if the verb ends in a consonant:
İstemek - iste + k - wish, desire
Dilemek - dile + k - request, wish
Bozmak - boz + uk - broken
Yanmak - yan + ık - burned
Karışmak - karış + ık - mixed, complicated
Boğmak - boğ + uk - muffled, hoarse (about a voice)
Yıkmak - yık + ık - ruined, destroyed
Çıkmak - çık + ık - dislocated, dislocation
